The difficulty is moderately challenging and can be accomplished by beginners if they are in good physical shape, regardless of nationality. However, visitors from sea level may need 1-2 extra days for altitude adjustment compared to those from higher elevations.
The chances of getting altitude sickness in the Valley are low compared to higher treks, but our 8-day itinerary includes a proper acclimatization day at Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m) before attempting Tserko Ri (4,984m).
