The Roof of the World, Tibet is one of the great Himalayan countries for adventure lovers. Heinrich Harrer's account of Tibet in "Seven Years in Tibet" gave the first idea of the city, its culture, traditions and lifestyle, to the western world. Tibet- the mystical land is a high altitude land with steep mountains, incredible landscapes, himalayan valleys and glaciers.
Lhasa-the Forbidden city is the capital of Tibet & home for Tibetan Buddhism. Lhasa was a former palace of the Tibetan spiritual leader, Dalai Lama, who was exiled from Tibet in 1959. Lhasa, Gyantse, Shigatse are the major typical Tibetan land and home for religious Tibetan people.
